Shannon Rennemann

Shannon Rennemann supports the VOA mission from Florida, bringing extensive experience in nonprofit accounting, financial leadership, and systems development. Born and raised in Utah, she holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. Shannon began her career at the Space Coast Health Foundation, where she advanced from accountant to Controller and oversaw organizational financials, including those of affiliated programs such as the Children’s Advocacy Center and Lifetime Counseling Center. Her work included strategic financial oversight, governance support, and community collaboration through service on investment, operations, advisory, and grant committees focused on improving access to care and community well-being.

Driven by a passion for children’s services and behavioral health, Shannon joined VOA, where she has built and strengthened an internal accounting and finance team. She has implemented new technologies, refined financial processes, supported improvements to organizational systems, and strengthened grant application, tracking, data, and reporting. Shannon is honored to support the teams and programs working on the ground across Alaska, ensuring they have the financial infrastructure needed to deliver high-quality services to youth, families, and communities.
