Jackie Engebretson, MSW
Director of Behavioral Health, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium
Jackie Engebretson is Ahtna Athabascan; her family comes from Gulkana Village. She is Director of Behavioral Health at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, and has extensive experience in the substance use and mental health fields. Most recently, Jackie’s specific areas of expertise are historical/intergenerational trauma, opioid use disorders, and medication assisted treatment. Her career highlights include co-developing the National Tribal Behavioral Health Agenda and building the Alaska Blanket Exercise from a grassroots effort to a robust statewide program. Jackie graduated from the University of Washington with an MSW in Community-Centered Integrative Practice.
