Brendan Wilson joins the VOA Alaska Board of Directors following a distinguished 34-year career as an educator and leader. A retired principal within the Anchorage School District, Brendan led both Wendler and Begich Middle Schools, where he saw firsthand the vital role behavioral health plays in student success. Following his tenure as a principal, he served for two years as a Principal Coach, specializing in PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) and integrating mental health systems into school culture.

Brendan currently serves as the Director of the Alaska Association of Secondary School Principals, continuing his commitment to mentoring and developing Alaska’s educational leaders.
