Alaska’s young people are suffering. What are we doing to save them?

In an opinion article published in the Anchorage Daily News, Julia Luey, President & CEO, writes that what’s often ignored in the conversation about the lack of available mental health resources is just how many providers are “ready and willing to expand their services.”

We are encouraged by the actions of the State Legislature and the Department of Health this year, but more must be done to increase investment in community-based services and expand life-saving behavioral health support for young Alaskans.
