Lonnie is a lifelong Alaskan resident, business owner, and community leader. After graduating high school at Heritage Christian in Anchorage, he accepted a basketball scholarship to attend the University of Alaska Anchorage. After earning a degree, he started his professional career as a Youth Counselor at McLaughlin Youth Center with the State of Alaska. In 2019, he accepted a role with VOA Alaska as the Coalition Director and served in that position until February of 2022. He currently owns and operates Ridgeway Assisted Living and ALH Consulting and Training. He is also a high school basketball coach for Dimond High School and an educator for 94ft Athletics and Make Yourself Unstoppable sports programs. His hobbies include staying active with sports, traveling with his family, and reading.
