Jamie is passionate about working with youth, helping others to be their best selves, yoga, her family, and her dogs. She has a 5 year old son who she loves spending time with camping, playing sports, and going on adventures and travelling.

Jamie was born and raised in Virginia. Jamie entered the behavioral health field in 2012 at a nonprofit agency in upstate New York working with women and children. During this time, she also was afforded the opportunity to work with adolescents and male clients in both residential and outpatient settings, as well as providing counseling in conjunction with a medication assisted treatment clinic. She has also volunteered as a rape crisis counselor for victims of sexual assault. Jamie worked several positions in the field, from direct floor staff to director. In 2017, Jamie moved to Alaska and began working in a behavioral health residential center for women with children and eventually moved on to supervise two residential programs and two outpatient programs. In 2021, she moved into VOA as the outpatient/integrated services program director until July 2023 when she moved into the VP of Program Operations role. She has her Masters of Social Work, and is a chemical dependency clinical supervisor.
