T’Shalla Baker, Senior Business Specialist of Wells Fargo Bank, is an accomplished, customer-centric and results-driven leader helping business owners to reach their financial goals. With 7 years of advanced banking industry knowledge and understanding of business financial analysis, commercial lending and credit practices across a wide range of industries and 15+ years of business development experience including creating sales and marketing strategies, customer acquisitions and retention, talent, risk and financial management, T’Shalla helps key decision makers create a strategic approach to meet their objectives. Prior to moving to Alaska in 2011, T’Shalla worked in the Media and Hospitality and Tourism industries. She managed her own restaurant and marketing company; strategically fostering business to business relationships for clients and coordinated collaborative marketing campaigns which improved the business community. T’Shalla is passionate about economic and community development and enriching the lives of minorities and vulnerable individuals, via effective sustainable programs. She serves on the boards of Volunteer of America Alaska and the Northeast Community Council and contributes her skills to the planning, resource development, diversity and inclusion, finance and loan committees of the 2020 Bettye Davis African American Summit, Anchorage Chamber of Commerce and Anchorage Community Land Trust. In 2019, T’Shalla volunteered more than 150 hours to create strong initiatives. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Graduate Certificate in International Trade and Master of Science in International Marketing Management from University of Maryland University College.
