Before returning to Alaska, Adryan Glasgow trained as an academic and completed her PhD from Purdue University in 2015. She found her way into service through a summer teaching position at VOA’s ARCH facility, where she quickly learned to love this new way of supporting youth. After about a year of direct service, she was recruited into administrative work where her research skills could be put to use supporting our staff as they serve our clients. Happy to be back in her hometown, Adryan fills her free time like any true nerd: attending lectures and taking random classes. She is resigned to her status as Worst Alaskan due to a serious deficit in breath-taking outdoor adventures, but, ever committed to self-improvement, she is resolved to continue expanding on that skill set.
